We wrote this in plain language because legalese hides bad behavior. Here’s exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what control you have.
01What we collect
When you fill out one of our forms, we collect the information you give us. Nothing more.
- Your name and email address
- Your ZIP code, and any details you tell us about your parent’s home
- What kind of help you’re looking for, grab bars, an ADU, something else
- For partners: your business name, license info, and coverage area
We also collect basic technical information automatically: your IP address, browser, and the pages you visit on this site. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which content is helpful.
02How we use it
We use your information for one thing: to match you with the right service partner and follow up on whether the match worked.
- To connect you with a certified installer or contractor in your area
- To check in once or twice after we make the match
- To send you our monthly email, but only if you opted in
- To improve the site and the matching process over time
We do not sell your information. We do not sell our email list. We do not place your name on any marketing list.
03How we share with service partners
When you ask to be matched with an installer or contractor, we share your name, email, ZIP code, and the details of what you need with one matched partner, the one we believe is the best fit for your situation.
We do not share your information with five vendors at once and let them fight over it. We do not sell your information to lead aggregators. The partner we send your info to has agreed in writing to use it only to follow up with you about the work you asked about.
We may also share information with vendors we use to run the business, like our email service, our analytics tool, and our hosting provider. These vendors only see what they need to do their job.
04Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. It works.
- See your data. Email [email protected] and we’ll send you everything we have on file within 30 days.
- Delete your data. Same email, same response time. We’ll delete it and confirm.
- Opt out of cookies. Browsers let you reject non-essential cookies in their settings. We don’t track you across other sites.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. Residents of the EU and UK have additional rights under GDPR. We honor all of them. Email us and we’ll handle it.
05Kids
NestLonger is for adults helping parents. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we’ll delete it.
06Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and email anyone who’s given us their address. We’ll explain what changed in plain language, not "we have updated our terms."
